Description
The BYD 6F electric truck is a class 6 box truck and the world’s first commercially available all-electric class 6 cab and chassis that can successfully complete an entire route.
The 6F is designed for urban delivery and distribution work, and is available in a range of applications. For example, it can be equipped with a body for refuse collection.
The BYD 6F is powered by a lithium iron phosphate battery pack that provides a range of up to 186 miles (300 kilometers) on a single charge, depending on the specific configuration. It has a top speed of 75mph (120 kilometers) and is equipped with a regenerative braking system that captures energy when the vehicle is braking and uses it to extend the range of the battery.
